This was no natural disaster. Cali’s own energy laws and policy decisions were the direct and only cause.

If it has reached the point where federal resources have to step in and fix something as basic to governance as their POWER GRID there must be consequences. Cali can’t just get away with decades of liberal energy insanity then come running to daddy federal government when the grid can’t take the load.

If we really have to bail out their grid, then Cali shouldn’t get one single damn say in how it gets done AND they should have to pay for every last cent of it on a short payment plan. Plus contractual guarantees that they will keep the facilities up for at least 50 years. Break down and remove their corrupt “renewables” programs before they break the whole country.

Wait, The Left spent decades wrecking California only to now want the Feds to set in and help them out?

What part of reaping what you have sown are they clueless about? And now these same moronic idiots that have spent decades voting for such policies that have invariably wrecked their state are bailing out and moving to other states? What part of spreading cancer are they not getting?

More and more everyday, I am growing more certain I am living in some F-ing alternate universe...........

The politicos in CA will do exactly what Covid Coumo did in NY. They will accept the help from Trump and then warn him to bring an army if he plans to walk down the streets.

But what happens to that contract if a Democrat President is elected sometime over those 50 years, and a Democrat Congress. Can they just toss that contract out, or can it be protected from any future administration altering it? The last thing I want to see is the energy grid completely renovated, only to have it end up back where it is now after a couple of decades.

Kalifornia goes green - citizens wilt in the heat...and dark...

Cali has plenty of fossil fuels just off the coast.
The fossil fuel bubbles up through the ocean floor.

Cali has zero reasons for NOT tapping that fuel source to power generators that create cheap and plentyful electricity

The first order of business should be to require the State Capitol and Surrounding Areas to be SHUT DOWN first and maybe permanently in all Cases of Electricity Shortages

I know a lot of folks in Cali that have fought the good fight against the liberals...

Prayers for up for them as things could get real wild.
