Totally agree.....!!!!there have been several physicians of note on evening TeeVee (Fox, specifically) who have said in just so many blunt words that face diapers are virtually useless...yet I still see people driving alone with face masks on.... bizarre, to say the least...

Yep, and then make Austin pay for the “troopers” through tax remittance. So these cities will be prevented from raising taxes on citizenry PLUS get hit with a bill for the “troopers”.

It’s already too late. A couple of months ago I had to travel to the Austin airport. There’s always a traffic jam by the first major expressway overpass entering the city from the south near the airport. My Uber driver took a ‘shortcut’ to bypass this. It was a major mistake.

The recent Austin ordnance declaring it to allow open housing for the homeless meant that the Austin overpasses instantly became tent cities for the homeless since the bridges became roofs to protect the homeless from rain. This day, some of the homeless decided to burn each others grocery carts. The route became snarled with burning carts and tents, fire trucks, and general mayhem. It was not a shortcut.
