Seems reasonable. I’ll certainly avoid it as well as a lot of democrat controlled cities for the near future.

KY cities are fine. I carry in my car and they have liberal self defense laws.

Gov Abbott has come up with some great ideas recently for the Texas cities who defund their respective police departments. Ideas that he will propose to the legislature when they reconvene in January.

1. Any Texas city that defunds its police can no longer raise property taxes and the current tax rate becomes frozen.

2. Any Texas city that defunds its police will forever lose their annexation powers, & any areas and any residents that have ever been annexed by that city in the past will have the power to dis-annex them from the city.

These two proposals will hurt cities like Austin hard, financially.

Our Governor is not holding back. He has put these liberal enclaves on notice.

If they defund the police, the State of Texas will remove these cities annexing powers. Then the annexed portions will be able to address the State for supplied LE and the bill goes back to these liberal shitholes.

He is not going to stand for what has been happening in other parts of the country and allow the citizenry void of protection by these liberal hypocrites.

He is asking for the silent majority to stand up and sign the “back the blue” pledge

So, we have to look to the UK Daily Mail for this news?

Maybe the Austin city council will try to outlaw such billboards!

They can send some of the laid off cops to enforce it...

Beyond stupid

It’s already too late. A couple of months ago I had to travel to the Austin airport. There’s always a traffic jam by the first major expressway overpass entering the city from the south near the airport. My Uber driver took a ‘shortcut’ to bypass this. It was a major mistake.

The recent Austin ordnance declaring it to allow open housing for the homeless meant that the Austin overpasses instantly became tent cities for the homeless since the bridges became roofs to protect the homeless from rain. This day, some of the homeless decided to burn each others grocery carts. The route became snarled with burning carts and tents, fire trucks, and general mayhem. It was not a shortcut.
