Other than it's Politico, I see no reason to consider this a lost seat. I certainly don't see being a non-professional politician a negative and I doubt most voters do.

Here in Pinellas County Florida's Congressional District 13, we have another rootin, toting GOP Candidate in Anna Paulina Luna, an USAF veteran.
She is running against that perpetual office and swamp creature, Charlie Crist, former GOP FL Governor, then 'I'ndependent and now 'D'emocrat. He is running for re-election but is rumored to want to run for his old Governor's job against Ron DeSantis in 2022.
