Its difficult because it puts one in the position of fighting city hall. And generally alone because most are cowed into compliance.
Yes, but it shouldn’t be alone. I am trying to get folks to have a conversation on what can be done instead of just sitting there like all the others at the ballgame.
During the 2008 election cycle, we went out for dinner with family/friends. Someone, of course, made a nasty comment about Sarah Palin. Even though I was with 3 other Palin supporters, I was the only one who simply said “I like her”. It would have meant so much to have the 3 other known and possibly more unknown supporters simply speak up. I’m not talking about fighting with these other guests, or getting into the weeds on policy. Just a simple I agree with magglepuss.
I posted a video of Christians being arrested in the United States of America. Around the same time, someone else, sadly lost a beloved pet. I don’t begrudge the 16 condolence messages, but maybe we could get more than 2 folks brainstorming about the Christians.
Why aren't there 1st amendment lawsuits? The constitution is still in effect, dempanic or no.
