He said he had another growth somewhere else also, that showed up on the scan.

Yeah when I heard that my ears went up..if it was just on the neck ok that’s one thing but he has another “Growth” somewhere, he did not say where..not sure if there is a connection but damn just damn :(

I had something similar back in 2002, a quickly-growing lump on/in the neck. It was a branchial cleft cyst, something that can happen just based on how your neck is made. According to my doctor, the quick-growing lumps are generally nothing serious... it’s the slow-growing ones to be more worried about. So, I am guessing he shall be OK, but it’s still best to keep him in our thoughts.
I had a painful lump on my left cheek that kept on growing but luckily my doctor found some old Xray pics that showed a benign growth in that area some 6 years ago. In the meantime, the lump is slowly decreasing in size and sensitivity.
