Since I do not plan on ever pulling my weapon unless (1) my life is in danger and (2) I have tried to extricate myself from said situation, I do not see the point of insurance in a castle doctrine state.

Legal fees and civil judgements. You aren't the one to determine if your life is in danger once you enter the legal system.

I was thinking that too but look what happened to zimmerman it was a legal self defense but they put him through the ringer.
I am getting the insurance for sure
