Disregarding all religious and moral safeties for the sake of argument, we enjoyed a lot of sex.

We shucked off all Puritanical fears and phobias and fell in love with the orgasm.

Now, at 72 with my second (and non peer group) wife, I will attest that sex outside of a "sixties generation" IS a little dead.

Our culture today is, in many ways pretty whacked.

I think your generation tried to move to a science fiction vision of sex that the medical and psychological achievements of the day were not yet capable of indemnifying against serious risk.

And somehow, in 2020, they still aren't ready. :)
