Democrats and Never Trump Republicans went nuts after Trump continued the dominance in debates he showed in 2016 over Hillary Clinton, this time over Joe Biden.
This despite the fact that Chris Wallace worked with Biden against Trump, cutting Trump off a stunning 72 times (to only 15 for Biden) and repeatedly saving Biden when Trump had him on the ropes.
No fight is "fair" -- unless Trump loses.
So now Democrats and their media allies are demanding that the left-leaning Commission on Presidential Debates change the rules to CENSOR the President whenever the moderator wishes it. Literally SILENCE him in a debate!
And the Commission is apparently ready to do just that!
Unbelievable.
And the next two moderators are guaranteed to WANT to silence Trump, either because they hate him, or are loyal to Biden.

On the other hand, playing Devil’s Advocate here, having someone like Scully means Trump can play with house money here. If the perception that Scully is partisan, it would somewhat lessen the impact of the attacks on Trump because of the perception that the moderator is biased.
I think that is what actually has helped Trump, with what happened Tuesday night.

I see three options if a debater’s mic is cut:
1) debater waits until it is his turn and says whatever he wants to
2) debater leaves and resigns the debate in protest
or, as has been advised here,
3) debater screams as loud as possible in hopes of overcoming the lack of broadcast/room mic.

Trump and conservative media should be constantly putting it out there - before the debate - that the guy is a Biden employee-flunkie.
If they wait until after the debate to make that frame, it’ll be a self-own fail.
And everyone knows these debate farces are not about substance, but appearance. Trump is going to have to learn when to shut up. And to make his points logically rather than with sheer bluster.
If they try to cut Trumps mic, he should bring out a bull horn.
Trump will never agree to give censorship power to a former Biden hack.
It gets even better.

I think what would be fair is if Trump could turn off the moderator’s mic.
It’s because the leftist/Communist don’t play by the rules and never have. Some stupid people have yet to figure this out.
And this is exactly why Trump need to go in there and tell them to eff their charade of corrupt rotten rules.
I couldn’t vouch for Scully, but am sceptical.
Wallace we know is blue deep down— as demonstrated, but hides under the cover of FOX. It’s so blue within Wallace that he thought he was fair and objective.
Kristen Welker, NBC is a raging Trump hater. We’ll see if all parties agree to continue to debate #3.
Is Trump retweeting Scully’s anti-Trump tweets? If not, he should be, along with some “impartial Biden employee & debate moderator” sarc.
Trump should do a townhall with Tucker asking the questions. He is not timid to go after Trump. It will at least keep us informed on relevant topics and more sophisticated questions.
That’s really all we need. People can check it out if they want to learn more about this candidate and his positions.
