A Venezuelan friend I’ve known for years sends hundreds of dollars per month down there so that family members can buy food on the black market. The salaries have been demolished by hyperinflation, such that there is absolutely no middle class, and no possibility of supporting a family without outside help. It is impossible to describe in words how shockingly deprived all the people are there...EXCEPT the Chavistas and their wealthy allies in Caracas.
As I understand it, a significant majority of the Venezuelans who are now citizens here will be voting Trump.

Our own Venezuelan test comes Nov 3rd. This is where we can clearly see what portion of our country is so stupid as to want to be just like Venezuela. People voting for their own doom.
