I heard, from someone who worked with him, a flight surgeon, that Mark Kelly is basically a selfish guy. Pretty much only cares about how things affect Mark Kelly. Got very angry with his wife for getting shot nearly to death because he had to get scrubbed from the space flight he was scheduled for. Oh, wife was Gabby Giffords.
