So the Trump campaign staff and the Secret Service both permit unauthorized random folks to contaminate the President’s podium?
If this guy is legit, and works for the debate committee or the venue, then he should be readily identifiable. If he is difficult to identify, that says something in and of itself.
It’s a lectern unless Trump intends to lead a band or orchestra, then he’ll stand on a podium.
If this was intentional sabotage, then it backfired on them and Trump made Covid not look so bad. Maybe it was Divine intervention.

He had white gloves. There was also a girl with him with white gloves and an armful of stuff-she knelt down-likely wiping down the rest of the podium.
Could have been disinfecting the podium or could have been spreading contamination - no way to tell from the video and it moved off of them before we could see whether they went to Biden’s podium.
So basically nothing to know for sure.
Why would they need to be unauthorized?
Sometimes the right person can be paid off. It would be all too easy, plus everyone would be able to claim plausible deniability. There’s no evidence to prove something.
That PDJT gets COVID-19 a month before the election is statistically odd...plus other republicans involved in SCOTUS decisions...hmmm.
