Actually, it doesn’t matter one way or the other. The Egyptians were not black either. They were Arabic, swarthy and Semitic. No blacks need apply.

Depends on the era. There were a handful of times the southern kingdoms invaded. You can tell by the noses on the statues.
A coworker of mine was an Egyptian Jew whose family immigrated to US. She applied as an African American to college and was accepted. When the college found out she was white, they accused her of fraud and rescinded her acceptance. They relented after being threatened with a lawsuit, however her scholarship was revoked.
