There are no bodegas or Italian markets anywhere around here. There are two grocery stores in the entire county and neither has ever sold fresh herbs of any kind. Heck, there hasn’t been a fresh cauliflower on the shelf for at least a decade. Probably two decades since they’ve even had a can of pork ‘n beans. If you have two jugs of milk in your cart, you will be begged to give someone else one, or it gets stolen out of your cart. No, this isn’t the ghetto but that’s just how poorly the closest store is managed. I’ve told here many times of when I had to do what seemed like a drug deal or kissed up to the mob just to get some frozen fish.
Now, lets talk about food desert. No public transportation, no instacart home deliveries and a reminder there are two grocers in the county. Heck, there is one grocery store in a nearby county. That witch and her bff, Moo, need to shut up.
