How do they know if a voter is a Republican or Democrat if they vote early?
I would think it is in states where a voter registers as either a dem, rep, or independent. Thus, if there are more republican votes in the early then dems, it should be an excellent possibility that We are doing well!
voters are registered - they know who voted - but not who they voted for...
Good question. It's my understanding that some states are allowed by their states election laws are allowed to open and tally mail in votes ahead of election day.
Now I'm unsure if those vote totals are also released early. It would seem to me to be inappropriate if they are.
