True. Listen this has never been a pandemic. It is an RNA virus which means it has and will stay endemic. You are going to get this, sooner or later. The longer we mask and distance the less herd immunity. I am not sure this masking and lockdown didn’t transform it into the endemic because it’s an RNA virus.. I will say, the treatments or lack thereof is likely the real cause of death. I have experienced very sick folks in their 80s and 90s get it.. suffer, but recover. The media just talks about the healthy 30 yr old that died.
A vax for an RNA virus will not be effacious due to the nature of an RNA virus. I just hope to get it before January because I detest sick, and not a cold dark winter fan.
Not sure why I haven’t gotten it, unless there is some immunity from the 70s bird flu that I probably got as a wild child of the dirt.
Living in fear will induce epigenetic changes and you will never be the same soul. Go live, laugh love. Suffer with your friends and family and carry one another’s burdens. It is our heritage to drive in through hardship.

The amount of incorrect information in your opinion post posing as factors is rather breathtaking.

Since you asked for corrections, I'll volunteer to jump in and do some of the heavy lifting there.

"Listen this has never been a pandemic."

Factually wrong. "Pandemic refers to an epidemic that has spread over several countries or continents, usually affecting a large number of people." - CDC Principles of Epidemiology in Public Health Practice

"It is an RNA virus which means it has and will stay endemic.

Non-sequitur. "Endemic refers to the constant presence and/or usual prevalence of a disease or infectious agent in a population within a geographic area." (ibid) There is nothing specific to the nature of an RNA virus to suggest it must become or remain endemic. Examples of RNA viruses which are NOT endemic include (but are not limited to) Zaire ebolavirus (Ebola), Zika virus, SARS-CoV-1 (SARS2003), MERS-CoV (MERS2012), and many others.

"I am not sure this masking and lockdown didn’t transform it into the endemic because it’s an RNA virus."

There is no evidence to suggest that wearing masks or lockdowns caused a higher prevalence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. If anything, transmission was reduced leading to lower presence within the population. This is not to suggest the lockdowns were a net positive for society by any means (they weren't), but from an epidemiological standpoint, what you're suggesting is utter nonsense.

"I will say, the treatments or lack thereof is likely the real cause of death."

Factually incorrect. Immediate cause of death is typically opportunistic secondary infection, ARDS, and cardiopulmonary failure. This results largely from the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 virus impacting the epithelial cells of human lung tissue and an improper reaction from the immune system. Treatment protocols have improved significantly, moving from strictly supportive care to some more active assistance against COVID-19 now that we understand the impact certain drugs and treatments can have at various stages of patient condition.

"I have experienced very sick folks in their 80s and 90s get it.. suffer, but recover. The media just talks about the healthy 30 yr old that died.

Misdirection. Roughly 82% of patients over 80 years of age recover from COVID-19, so it's not at all unusual to see older folks survive it. And what the media chooses to report is fully on them. They're a business and right now they're in the business of selling fear. Their bad reporting does not have any impact on the reality on the ground.

"A vax for an RNA virus will not be effacious due to the nature of an RNA virus. I just hope to get it before January because I detest sick"

So it's not going to work, but you can't wait to get it? Also, the claim that it will not be effective because it's an RNA virus is absurd. The polio vaccine works great. So does the Hepatitis A vaccine. So does the rubella vaccine, the Yellow fever vaccine, and plenty of others. Again, mountains of evidence you're simply wrong.

"Not sure why I haven’t gotten it, unless there is some immunity from the 70s bird flu that I probably got"

Wow. First, Influenza virus is as similar to SARS-CoV-2 as humans are to snails. That's the literal truth in terms of taxonomy. Yes, humans and snails are both animals. That's where the similarity ends. So no, your exposure to one particular strain of the Influenza virus from 50 years ago has zero to do with not yet becoming infected with SARS-CoV-2. It probably has more to do with the fact that only about 11-12% of Americans have been infected with it, which means you're simply among the nearly 90% who haven't.
