Regardless of who said it, I am touched, having turned seventy a week ago. Like the first time I was diagnosed with cancer, it brings on a bout of melancholy.

Yeah but the “regardless” isn’t the point.

It was attributed to someone who didn’t write it.

“regardless” and your own feelings on it don’t change that.

Put it up as a thread with unknown author if it’s going to touch so many people.

But from where I come from that is called misleading folks.

And sometimes grounds for a lawsuit.

I turned 80 this year, and the number 80 is scaring me, but not much else. If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself before.
