Among efforts to create a more inclusive culture, Kroger aims to form a DE&I Advisory Council to advance our long-term diversity, equity and inclusion commitments. The committee will report to senior leadership and be led by Monica Garnes, retail division president. The council also will partner with senior leaders and longstanding associate resource and advocacy groups — representing Black, Latinx, Asian, LGBTQ, and physically and intellectually disabled associates, plus veterans, women, parents, and Millennials — to spur organizational change, Kroger said.

If the subject matter itself wasn’t evidence you were dealing with a nutcase - that certainly seals the deal. It is very disrespectful to Hispanic culture and to their very language to do that. So much for “diversity.”
They aren’t for “diversity” they are for a Leftist agenda. Stray from the narrow lines of Leftism, and you are “nondiverse.”

Works if one is a woman, black, Asian, etc. Not so much for man or white. I suppose “parent” references those with young children. Seems as if it is the usual: white males need not apply.
They forgot the opinions of regular white men. Don’t they count for diversity?

I worked in that industry for a decade. You take what
you can get. If you spend one moment worrying about
what gender or color anyone is you’re crazy.
“Drug-free”, “not a thief” and “shows up for work on-time” are your only criteria.

Back in the ‘70s - ‘80s my mother would not shop at Kroger because she said, “They were the first (Nashville, Tennessee) to start staying open on Sundays.” So they were even liberal back then.

As a military retiree there is nothing that I appreciate more than being included in this group. I mean, all the groups listed are equal, right? To these people, a homosexual has the same moral equivalency as a person who served 20 years in the military.
