I'm sure Leslie Marshall had this screed in the can for several days, ready to release as soon as the ACB vote was final. As much as of a debacle as the Dems turned this into, I agree with the point recently brought up by Tammy Bruce (& probably others) that the person mainly responsible for ACB is Ruth Bader Ginsburg. There was a 6-year period where Obama had a Democrat-controlled Senate, & Ginsburg was already having health problems at this time. She knew her years were numbered. If she'd done the noble thing & retired then, an Obama-appointed replacement would've sailed through the process, & Ginsburg's legacy of liberal activism on the court would've continued for decades to come. But she didn't, & as a result, America received the gift of ACB.
I guarantee every liberal pundit it thinking this very same thing, but wouldn't dare mention it publicly.

I’d love for Republicans to retake House, retain the Senate and return Trump to the WH. THEN, they should announce they will fulfill the democrat promise to expand the court, do it, and then pass a constitutional amendment capping the SC at 11 justices.
