The Virginia Military Institute’s Board of Visitors is gutless.

I wonder if they will also remove the plaque marking the classroom where he taught mathematics and cannon gunnery?

Why stop there?

They should deny their involvement in the Civil War, and that not a single alumni or cadet at the school EVER fought for the wicked Confederacy.

And anyone who went or taught at VMI before 1865 never owned a single slave, but if the did, they are hereby posthumously expelled or dismissed.

An army friend of mine, who is a VMI graduate, says the anti-VMI backers of Northam wants to close VMI and use the money for non-military related spending.

For every reaction, an equal but opposite reaction.

They’ll never know what hit em.

Erwin Rommel was a Nazi field marshal. He got his promotions from a vile man, Adolf Hitler. And today’s Germans are, of course, very sensitive about their Nazi past.

Yet Germans have no problem having the “Field Marshal Rommel Barracks” in their army today. So yeah, as PC as the Germans have become, we are worse.

As an Alum of a brother military college, I must say I am stunned by this.

Jackson is such a deep part of their heritage that I cannot imagine VMI without him.

Just Wow.

Unfortunately, the VMI Superintendant Gen. J.H. Binford Peay III is 80 years old and probably was not the best person at this time to fight the ‘woke’ culture. I just would have thought that the black alumni would have thought better of burning down the means to their successes because it’s all downhill from here. Like the Citadel.

From Wikipedia:

Formal education was not easily obtained, but he attended school when and where he could. Much of Jackson's education was self-taught. He once made a deal with one of his uncle's slaves to provide him with pine knots in exchange for reading lessons; Thomas would stay up at night reading borrowed books by the light of those burning pine knots. Virginia law forbade teaching a slave, free black or mulatto to read or write; nevertheless, Jackson secretly taught the slave, as he had promised. Once literate, the young slave fled to Canada via the Underground Railroad.

More "My mind is already made up. Don't confuse me with the facts." The genocidal racist who started the movement to remove Jackson's statue should burn in hell.

This can be laid directly at the feet of Governor Blackface.

But the wealthy, weak men on the VMI board share equal responsibility.

If President Trump does not win reelection you can kiss this country goodbye.

The Virginia Military Institute members decision reinforces the belief that a severe Testosterone shortage has inflicted some members of the military.

Delirious yet profound, speaking as a general and as a believer, Stonewall's final deathbed words were:
“Let us cross over the river and rest under the shade of the trees.”

Stonewall was/is a gallant warrior and devout Christian who abides with His savior. He has been revered and admired for 150 years. On the other hand these unbelieving, unregenerate cretins demeaning him will have not a minute of veneration and (undoubtedly) a far different abode for eternity. Their names will be quickly forgotten.

Heavenly Father, thank you that this nation produced that fine Christian and courageous general, Stonewall Jackson. May his legacy live on and his reputation be unblemished. If not in this world, then in the world to come. But may you vindicate him now and heap shame those who were involved in this action.

The more people cave to this type of pressure, the more they will push. Blood in the water draws sharks. Stop bleeding.

Brilliant, just brilliant.

Tear it down, burn it down— history will not be erased.

That means history will mark you down as cowering fools.
