Okay.... a short break from politics for those needing a couple of minutes away. (I’m posting in “chit-chat”). If you remember the days of black and white.... before technicolor.... this song might ring a bell. I’ve started working with a different singer and I think she sings her butt off. I played the instruments and she sang.... all in my studio. Just having fun and trying to lower the stress level a little.

Thanks for sharing, KJam, nice work!
Thanks! Appreciate it...
Not my style, but that girl certainly can sing. The instrumentation behind is also well done. Mixing and other production is subjective, but I heard no glaring errors.
Nice work
She has a pleasant voice. This reminds me of something The New Seekers may have done in the early 60’s, or Joan Baez with her soaring soprano.
The intro has something of a George Harrison twang to it.
I can see this being performed outside at a County Fair setting.

Maybe because "The Seekers" did do this song in 1968!
I knew it!!
Nice but no.
Give me the Seekers with Judith or do not go.
In their sleep, Judith, Mama Cass and Grace could sing rings around the small mewling attempts at "singing." Who knows why? It is a musical version of the Theory of Emerging Civilizations.
The real deal
.
Where were you in '62?
Another You--Craig Douglas (1962)
I played the Seekers’ version for my wife, on our anniversary last year, as she was living with stage 4 cancer. That was a tear jerker.
We celebrated our 46th anniversary last month, then she died a week later.
It’s going to take a while. I miss her so much.
Always open for advice? What mixing changes would you make?
Pretty sure the Seekers recorded this in 64
Agree... no one sings like Judith
I was 3 years old in a suburb in 62
Like all of those singers. Judith in prime was certainly in that group. Maybe my favorite from that tine was Mary Travers. Could not stand her politics... but her voice (in her prime) was like magic for me.
I loved Chris Montez’s version in the mid 60s.
