Chelsea Clinton said supporters of President Donald Trump chanted "lock her up" outside her parents' home on Sunday.
Dozens of Trump supporters marched past the home of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in upstate New York on Sunday afternoon, LoHud.com reported.
They played music, honked horns and shouted through megaphones outside the residence in Chappaqua.
Chelsea Clinton tweeted about the incident at around 5 p.m., noting that the people were chanting a slogan that was used against her mother during the 2016 presidential campaign.
She also added that she hoped those in the crowd were wearing masks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"There are Trump supporters outside my parents' house shouting through megaphones "Lock Her Up," and I just keep thinking, I hope they're wearing masks and some day get over 2016," she wrote.
A spokesperson for Chelsea Clinton has been contacted for comment.
