“After full chambered I installed the Vettepack mufflers with 16” chambered & 24” resonators, 2,5” core, 3,5” outer diameter. Deep Big Block rumble!!!”

I think the '69 Vettes are my favorite. If not, darn close to it.
You have got to HEAR this thing.
If you have a sub-woofer hooked up to your 'puter, even better! Or good headphones!
Don’t like the wheels. Otherwise great car. ‘69 vettes are my favorite.
1967 427 with side pipes my best friends mom had one and drove it...
Music to my ears.
They don’t write songs about Volvos.
My boss who owned the gun store I worked at in Fostoria owned a ‘69 Corvette I was trusted to drive upon occasion. 350/350 HP 4 speed, side pipes and removable hardtop. What a treat for this 19 yo kid! He banned his brother from driving company vehicles, guess who had to haul the fumduck around...
I want this '58.
I’m partial to the ‘67 models - but none of them were comfortable to drive - size 12 shoes would fill up the pedal area.
I’ve never been a big fan of the Stingray (C3) Corvette, nor of side pipes. That’s maybe because I’ve never owned one. I also have only owned convertibles, and with the top down, the side pipes are only a few inches from your ears.
You hear nothing but the rumble - no radio, no conversation, just blast.
My favorite was a 1964 C2, a 365 hp 327, four speed. It would do 70 mph in low gear, at 6,500 rpm. I was young and single then, and it involved many good times.
Yup the 67’s and the 69’s, I think are the best.
And i get a better feel for the clutch when I don’t wear any shoe on my left foot.
I always wore shoes and developed intuitive feel for my clutches - had a Schaeffler revloc clutch in a ‘69 Firebird I built and the pedal pressure was enough that lack of shoe would have made it uncomfortable.
I had a friend who preferred no shoes at all when racing but I didn’t have that much “Hillbilly” in me
Most ‘69 models were awesome.
‘69 Corvette
‘69 Mustang
‘69 Charger
Kristy Swanson
‘69 Camaro

Do you mean Scheifer clutch?
I knew both Paul & Carl.
Yep - been so long I did a quick search to ensure I had it right and then I got it wrong - curses on aging.
I do still remember the sounds and feels of a high-pony machine smelling the area up with burnt rubber though.
