DERSHOWITZ: If the evidence is there, then there will be a trial.
Remember also, these have to go to state court first. There’s no such thing as a presidential election. There are 50 state elections. The Pennsylvania case is already in the Supreme Court. But these other cases have to go first through either the state or the federal trial courts before they get to the Supreme Court.
It doesn’t look like there will be enough time to bring the case to the Supreme Court before the safe harbor provision kicks in, before the Electoral College meets.
BARTIROMO: OK.
DERSHOWITZ: So, if you’re asking me what I think the outcome is going to be, notwithstanding the fact that there are legal paths to potential victory, I don’t think that the election is going to be reversed, based on the numbers that I see at the moment and based on the fact that I haven’t seen the evidence.

Pretty good article. Maybe it will help some people understand that Powell is not going to be the one to overturn this election.
What she is doing is for future elections..and for various other things.
There is some cache to Trump being the POTUS that the people wanted but the forces were against...and maybe that is the way forward for him.
Certainly, what Powell is doing will help further that along IF she has some hard evidence.
safe harbor provision. People forget, what happened in 2000 was that the FL state legislature was ready to meet to vote for a Bush slate of electors themselves. That's why SCOTUS shut down the recount. Dershowitz has been very clear that Trump should win the PA case as a matter of law if SCOTUS takes the case, or the Third Circuit reveses en banc. I think WI is similar, but requires additional factual anlaysis.
