If Homeland Security was made responsible for election security, wouldn’t they be the ones doing the investigations into the rampant fraud, rather than the FBI (who everyone knows can’t be trusted under Wray)? Once DHS has finished their investigations, I expect the cases would be turned over to the DOJ for prosecution.
Maybe President Trump is having AG Barr do the equivalent of “shooting flares from a plane” - just distracting the enemy.
