‘While most Republican lawmakers remain on the sidelines awaiting President Trump’s legal contests, several leading senators are accepting the results of Monday’s Electoral College.

Here are senators:

"The orderly transfer of power is a hallmark of our democracy, and although I supported President Trump, the Electoral College vote today makes clear that Joe Biden is now President-elect," said Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio.

Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., claimed he was "disappointed by the results of the Electoral College vote" but said that "we must put aside politics and respect the constitutional process that determines the winner of our presidential election."

Senate Majority Whip John Thune R-S.D., said: "I understand there are people who feel strongly about the outcome of this election, but in the end at some point you have to face the music. And I think once the Electoral College settles the issue today, it's time for everybody to move on." ’

Any chance of winning the count of presidential electors on January 6th requires party unity. These surrender monkeys need to understand the consequences of such collaboration. At best they will be primaried, and at worst their actions could result in secession and/or civil war. Their constituents need to communicate with them about this.

It's my belief that between 12% and 18% of the voting public in this country are small-government conservatives.

We have been voting Republican as the lesser of two evils since Perot's first run in 1992.

Really? At this point...WTF do you want?

Facts:

No states election results are going to be overturned or "redone".

The Supreme Court is not hearing any cases involving election fraud.

The electoral college has voted.

You can keep this up till Jan 6...but then Pence will count >270 electoral college votes for Biden.

The Democrats have a majority in the House...so any electoral college objection would be easily overruled in the house...even IF one senator and one house member makes an objection to a state's electoral college vote. Moreover...there have been only two instances of congressional objections (1969 and 2005) and neither passed either the House or the Senate.

For the record...I'm a realist...and reality says...based on where we're at right now...all the "facets" of this "multi-faceted plan" to a Trump victory are over.

It's a bitter pill to swallow...something VERY unpleasant...but it IS reality; I suggest living in it.
