My favorite television series when I was young was Dukes of Hazzard. I can’t imagine what they would do to a resurrected series. Uncle Jesse would have to preach graciously about the glory of diversity, gayness, trannies, dope dispensaries, illegals, etc. Daisy would be confronted with an abortion. Sheriff Roscoe would have to constantly repent for police behavior. The General Lee would be a Prius with a rainbow on the roof.
Didn’t they have Willie Nelson as the father in the theatrical reboot?
My Favorite Alice episodes were when Boss Hogg came by. I think he did it twice. Some tie-in since both were southern and on CBS.
