Every time I get a ping for a new q thread it takes me to an old thread with over 2k posts. How do I fix?

Maybe it it an old ping? Ransomnote has been cranking out these threads every couple of days of late. I just scroll down to the end of a thread to find the image which links you to the current thread. Or look for Bagster's 'you can remain in festival' or click the link comment. Either way, you're here now. Merry Christmas!

Dansong, I made a change to pings that through some folks off. I’m so sorry for the confusion - I’ll try putting a note up mid-thread to reach more peeps contending with the pings.

Ye olde tyme pings: were posted on the new thread and we clicked on the title of the thread to arrive “in”

Ye new pings: are posted on the existing thread. Please click on the image, not the title of the ping, to find the new thread.

Let me know if I need to tweak my explanation so it makes sense.
There’s also a directory of Q thread locations in my user profile - click on the date of the thread shown far left to find it.

Glad you found us Dansong.
