Hope you understand if that happens, there’s likely to be more liberal legislation such as gun control legislation passed. Whether or not people abide by new gun laws and other laws is one thing. But I’m thinking Dems will not squander their new majorities.

Well, according to some on FR, the Republican Party needs to be cleansed / purified / etc., and if 3 part Dem control is the price to pay for that cleansing, then it’s a small price to pay indeed.

2 years with Nancy and Chuckie calling the shots is enough to do a LOT of damage and possibly insure they never have power wrested from them via “due process”.

Won’t / doesn’t matter to a growing body of Republican voters. Apparently, more gun control legislation is the price to pay to purge the Republican Party of less than stalwart conservative thought.
President Reagan’s big-tent Republican Party is nothing but a quaint notion, apparently.
Members of congress folded, followed or Trump followed them on signing the bill. They since didn’t get the $2,000 AND, more importantly, no one seriously expects them to undo all of the pork spending, the border wall construction limits, the funding to other countries (including their borders!), or money given to illegal aliens. Congress did what Congress does. I am still most upset with Trump, that he once again caved, signed the bill. He truly is Donald “I won’t do it again” Trump. He gave Biden a perfect inaugural gift undoing many things he accomplished.
This is why I believe the Turtle, Kemp, and Loeffler herself are not one bit in the least worried about all the fraud in GA. My belief is there has been a dirty deal: if Mitch made sure no Senators objected to the electors, then the Dominion algorithm would make sure Loeffler won her election and the Turtle would still be Majority Leader.
Think about it: Mitch does not seem worried in the slightest that he could no longer be Majority Leader (if you are in the minority, you lose control of all the pork committees). And Mitch has been strong-arming the Senators not to object to the electors.

Voting for her was ALMOST as unpleasant as voting for John McCain! (Palin is the ONLY reason I didn’t stay home for that one).
