At this point, Trump needs to protect his own life.

The deep state has finished the color-revolution, we have over-the-top media propaganda of “Trump-supporter violence” to scare any loyal staff he has left in government into surrendering, and they are now working on the final narrative that Trump is a complete devil.
they would like nothing more than to close the entire stage play with something like: “and then Trump killed himself in disgrace and his body was burned beyond recognition”
