My Son-in-law with a PhD. in 'Instructional Technology" has traveled to China twice to present at symposiums for Penn State.   The last visit was several years ago.   He is obviously one of those Democrat "educated fool" academics and my Daughter was swept along with his university culture.   He works for University of Michigan now.   I never made the connection back then, of my Son-in-law's affection for the CCP until President Trump campaigned against the trade imbalance.

Academics do seem to fawn over CCP. They love the research money I guess. My brother has been impressed with CCP planning. He likes to go to China for plant research. Dangerous.
