If you “serve” in the U.S. military you are basically a mercenary for foreign governments and corporate interests.
I can see the intent of your post, it is somewhat difficult to reply to as a yes or no, atm hold fast intel is intel.
respects
I was wondering when Red-State Americans would start to question sending their sons and daughters to wars created by deep-state hacks like Bush, Obama, McCain, Romney and Clinton
I can’t imagine what Biden’s puppet masters are going to push him to do. It’s frightening.
Yes. It is honorable to serve even now.
This will pass. Trust me our people are so wired up they are going to regret this.
How about when they disqualify or standard bearer over a false incitement charge.
That’s revolutionary stuff.
Tough one, you take an oath to defend the Constitution and yet you’re going to serve a government that violates and ignores it.
Since it’s no longer the land of the free, then, it’s time for those in the services now to start retiring or ending their service. It’s also time for those thinking of serving to change their minds. It’s no longer honorable and it’s no longer worth it.
Yes. While our internal threats are real, our external threats are just as real. Serving has always been about covering each others back, regardless of the political environment, to get the job done. Until that job pits you against the citizens of your country, you’re still standing in their defense.
There are various kinds of people in the military.
Some wear a uniform and hold a broom.
Some want money for education.
Some want the pay and benefits.
Some can’t seem to be able to do something else.
Some are looking for a husband (even guys).
Some want adventure.
Some want to learn a skill.
Some are just marking time.
Some want to protect and defend their country.
Depends on the reason for joining, I guess.
To protect from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
A lot of times the recruits join the military because of dead end lives and in a rut of zero expectations. The military is a method to learn a skill and get the heck out of a small town of limited opportunities. In exchange for a life in the service, the recruit will shut the heck up and follow orders. The navy is a way to see the world. Special Forces combat is another story. I do not know how to evaluate the mind of a guy who wants to be a highly specialized combat soldier.
Your post moves me to comment on the “Thank you for your service” remark that is so commonly directed at veterans.
I’ve never uttered that phrase. Their service to the country is no better than my service to the bank that I’ve worked at for the last 27 years. No one routinely thanks me for my service. It’s just a job. Whether you work in a bank or for the US Army.
Thank you for your service? Yes certainly, if wounded or injured fighting in battle for my freedoms. Otherwise, it’s just a job.
Absolutely, you serve the Constitution .......
2 words- “Oath Keepers”
To those who abide their true Oath and stand united for we the people, I remain humbly in your debt.
The separation betwen the Sheep and the goats is underway.
(In this Biblical reference “Sheep” are honored.)
II Corinthians 6:17
How long before blue helmets is a manditory apparel?
Unfortunately the military particularly the higher ups and the academies have been inundated with leftist and Marxist thought.
Presidents and Congresses come and go. So do corporations. So do voting machines. Things will look different in 2023 or 2025 if you keep working to make things better. In the meantime, you don’t want the country to be taken over by China, do you?
