The only reason the Sand Creek massacre is remembered today is because some citizens of Boston back then saw it as a way to take heat off of themselves for their Pequot massacre, so they started screaming about it.

Otherwise Sand Creek would just be a footnote of a dustup out on the High Plains. Same for the Washita.

Native leaders and other racial justice activists have pushed for decades for Massachusetts to change its state seal, which depicts a Native American standing beneath a disembodied arm wielding a sword and the Latin motto, "By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty."

So peace only if everyone has liberty is now offensive. Got it.

Yeah. Real offensive.

manus haec inimica tyrannis ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem, which means "this hand, an enemy to tyrants, seeks with the sword a quiet peace under liberty."

The phrase "this hand, an enemy to tyrants" would certainly be offensive to the tyrants running the place...

...even if that part of the quote was chopped off, so to speak!

Re my state about Yale being in Massachusetts. Geographically that is true but mentality they think they are.

Yale had two big reds in their law school, identified Communist Party USA member Thomas I “The Commie” Emerson and his legal buttboy Prof. Vernon Countrymen (esp. in the CP’s top anti-internal security front re Congress, the National Committee to Abolish HUAC/HCUA and then name changed in March 1969 to Nat. Com. to Abolish HISC (House Internal Security Committee).

They had their counterparts at Harvard and the first head of the Marxist-names/oriented Black Studies Department was Ewart Guinier, a longtime CPUSA organizer in Hawaii, who, along with his red wife “Eugenie” were thrown out of the then territory by the US Naval Commandant. Their daughter was the Marxist-oriented, black power lawyer, Lani, who was nominated by Clinton to the DOJ Civil Rights Div. (if I recall the right Division correctly).

Just adding some “color” to the conversation that you won’t find in the mainstream press.
