The state is so goofy, two men kissing could be the pick.

Offensive to native Americans?
“[This hand] seeks with a sword peace under liberty” and an image of an Indian resting a bow in a gesture of peace? Will all traces of Indian heritage be blotted out?

never bothered native Americans before.
but now, Sen. Warren, as Indian as HeelsUp is Black,
and her CCP and Ukrainian and Vatican backers
are against REAL INDIANS who were recognized proudly.

You know what the ‘native americans’ call their DC Bureau?
Bureau of Indian Affairs.
They’re ‘so offended’.

Why don’t they just give the state back to the natives?

Are they going to rename it too? Massachusetts is an Indian word.

In a late breaking story, House Democrats propose condemning Amerigo Vespucci as a racist slave-owning bigot. The Proposal goes on to ask for new woke names for the country like Kingland or Parkland or Tubman or Ginsburger or Sangers

How about some pictures of all the Soviet spies and traitors Massachusetts has produced, esp. from Harvard, Yale and possibly MIT?

So when do they give it back?
If they’re embarrassed by their own existence as a state, return it to the Injuns.
I’m sure they’ll be happy to turn over the big houses they get from those state salaries and pensions.

From the article:
"earning support from both branches and landing on Gov. Charlie Baker's desk just after 4 a.m."4am? Wow, how heartening to see leftist legislatures stay up all night creating emergency legislation to fix such high priority problems as these! Why, I can't think of a bigger problem facing America today than this, can you?

"The imagery of the current flag and seal promotes a history of conquest, appropriation, and genocide," Elizabeth Solomon, an elder of the Massachusett Tribe at Ponkapoag, said in a statement. That's quite a stretch. What I see is an Indian being honored for being a brave warrior.
"I ask the governor to quickly sign this bill into law so we may start to work on imagining a seal for the Commonwealth that honors the Native people after whom the Commonwealth is named
You mean the entire state is named after Native people and that's not enough? Sheese!

activists who have argued for decades that the current versions disparage Native Americans. Are these activists actually Native Americans or just woke whites, similar to those who were "offended" by the Washington Redskins?

The only reason the Sand Creek massacre is remembered today is because some citizens of Boston back then saw it as a way to take heat off of themselves for their Pequot massacre, so they started screaming about it.
Otherwise Sand Creek would just be a footnote of a dustup out on the High Plains. Same for the Washita.

Native leaders and other racial justice activists have pushed for decades for Massachusetts to change its state seal, which depicts a Native American standing beneath a disembodied arm wielding a sword and the Latin motto, "By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty." So peace only if everyone has liberty is now offensive. Got it.
