Gohmert has no intention of voting to impeach the president and used his time at the microphone to throw Pelosi's own words back at her. The Texas Republican pointed to a comment Pelosi made in 2018, when she wondered why there weren't "uprisings all over the county" over migrant children being separated from their parents and an August MSNBC interview when she called allies of the president "enemies of the state."
"From our side, we didn't take those to be impeachable because we didn't believe she surely meant that but by the Democrats taking this action, you're telling me, 'No when we say those things we mean to incite violence,'" Gohmert said.
Newsweek reached out to Speaker Pelosi for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
He wasn't alone in criticizing Democrats for their rhetoric. At least two other legislators, Representatives Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz, took issue with comments Democrats made in the past. Gaetz, who faced calls to resign after the riot, targeted Pelosi for tearing Trump's State of the Union speech in half last year and said "words don't matter when they're uttered by Democrats."

It is purely a theatrical sh1tshow from Nanzi Pelosi. She tried SIX times to impeach Donald Trump.
Their impeachment last year “cost him the election” if it cost him ANY votes because he got more votes than ANY sitting president in history when he ran again.
And the Rats didn’t mention their impeachment once at the debates or during the campaign.
The peaceful transfer of power has long been over (60 years) from the Democrats but Nanzi takes the cake over it this year.

When you understand that any changes to this corrupt and self-serving system will not be accepted by those who command power and affluence; when you accept their willingness to deploy military around themselves in order to protect them from you; and when you realize they will use every system, including the ballot counting machines, to stop the American people from disrupting this corrupt system of self-aggrandizing elitism; you start to realize the diminished options for removing them from office.

That’s pretty much a duh and it’s a shame if only Louie and a few others have the ability to apply logic.
It isn’t just Pelosi, we all know that Biden and Harris encouraged, denied and enabled violence against federal and local government buildings - including the White House and the Supreme Court - and against private businesses and homes. People were killed by them.
They incited violence. Many of those who went in the Capitol to protest undoubtedly were thinking “Well heck the democrats have been doing worse stuff all year.”
Not only will you find countless examples of democrats inciting violence, President Trump was denouncing the violence every single day in every speech.
And we have to think of this because Mitch McConnell won’t?
