Cheap hair lice drug may cut risk of COVID-19 death by 80 percent: study

A simple treatment for COVID-19 could be cheaper than 20 bucks — and familiar to most grade school nurses. Head lice drug ivermectin is being explored as a potential treatment for the coronavirus following a promising new study that showed an 80% reduction in hospitalized COVID-19 patient deaths.

Just 8 out of 573 patients who received ivermectin passed away, compared to the 44 individuals out of 510 who died after being given a placebo.

An earlier study of the antiparasitic prescription drug, which costs between $17 and $43 for a course of treatment, according to GoodRx, revealed promising results in April — by removing all viral RNA within 48 hours of a single dose.

For the last 4 years, my son has had asthmatic type symptoms, especially debilitating in winter. We have visited many doctors over this time Period and we’re primarily prescribed nebulizer treatments, antibiotics, and steroids. All of which temporarily reduce symptoms, only to have them return within days. I had even started sending our son and my wife to Florida in the winter because SunLight seemed to reduce his symptoms temporarily as well.

After hearing of anti-parasite medicine Ivermectin’s effect on Coronavirus, I decided to try it with my son. After one dose he is no longer coughing all night and wheezing. Asthmatic Symptoms are gone.

If we had a public health edifice that was worth anything, front line health care workers and public-facing store employees would be on Covid prophylaxis. The Federal public health agencies (FDA/NIH/CDC) have seemingly completely ignored cheap effective re-purposed therapeutics that could have significantly reduced deaths and transmission.

Key protocols from this group use Ivermectin.

Ditto this group.

India has been using HCQ and Ivermectin for many months as therapeutics and for prophylaxis. Their curves are quite impressive, scroll down to see them here.

Anyone able to interpret a basic graph will be impressed. Why is this not being talked about in Western media?

Also from India:
Ziverdo Kit Contains Zinc Acetate 50 mg, Doxycycline 100 mg & Ivermectin 12 mg Dispersible Tablets. It is currently indicated in the first line treatment for COVID-19 positive patients. Quadruple Therapy with Ivermectin is effective in treating COVID-19

That’s a link to an Indian online pharmacy selling that Covid treatment kit for under $2, just add vitamin D3.

Fauci and his backers essentially prevented the sick from getting medications that were established, in use for human beings for decades, and had a proven effect upon diseases such as Covid. Thousands died unnecessarily. And all for political motives, that is, their ultimately successful attempt to destroy Trump.

In a just world, they would be up on charges of crimes against humanity.

Thanks... so he is right in that age where there is plenty of evidence for how kids of that age react to it. Age 10 would seem like the age where kids more commonly get head lice.

I’m going to see my doctor soon and I want him to write me a prescription for it... I’m not going to take it but I’m thinking I’d like to have it handy in the event that the flue finds its way to my door.

Works for lice. I’m not sure if that Rx is a pill or topical. Ivermectin is commonly used topically on livestock. There are huge jugs of the topical solution at TSC.

But-but-but the Deep State NEEDED the numbers of mortality and dead to prove their case against that terrible tyrant and dictator Donald J. Trump. A cheap and easy way to reduce deaths from COVID-19 Wuhan virus had to be suppressed, otherwise Trump might get some little scrap of credit for a much faster tamp-down of this manufactured “Pandemic”.

Now, of course, with the vaccine already available, the hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin treatment protocol and the ivermectin implementation to halt the more advanced stages of the infections, the preventative measures may be freely applied. Mission accomplished for the COVID-19 Wuhan virus, it may now be retired from service to the PLA and the New World Order.

“I’m not sure if that Rx is a pill or topical.”

I had hookworm years ago in my feet. Thankfully my doctor was a Vietnam medic and knew what it was and prescribed medicine to rub on my feet. (He called in the other doctors and staff to look at it as it was so rare for the USA). It got better, but not completely gone so I asked for some more.

Went to the pharmacy and the bottle said “drink 1 tablespoon at bedtime.” I told the lady that was wrong - I’m supposed to rub it on my feet.

“Well - that’s what it says, so the doctor must have figured you needed to do that instead to cure it!”

Bedtime comes around, and I’m looking at this spoonful of crap that I had been rubbing on my feet the previous day. I put it back in the bottle and called my doc the next day.

“Heh - no, just keep rubbing it on your feet. But it wouldn’t have hurt you - it can be taken orally as well. Except it wouldn’t have done any good on the hookworms in your feet!”

I called the pharmacy back and gave them what for, and asked to speak with the pharmacist. “Well - it said to rub on your feet, but I had never heard of that, so I changed it to the typical take orally at bedtime.”

I gave them even more heck after that - changing the doctor’s orders and all.

The ruthless powers that be are, no doubt, responsible for tens of thousands of misery and death......because stealing this election was worth more to them than healing one soul.

I worked at Merck in the ‘80’s when (and, I think, where) Ivermectin was developed and I recall that it was described then as a drug that treats both internal (e.g. tapeworms) and external (eg. ticks) in farm animals and pets. Since then, I’ve noticed it being mentioned as a treatment for diseases that attack humans in Africa as well as a treatment for HIV.

What I found interesting in the referenced study, however, is that less than 10% of the placebo group died.

Ivermectin is a more recent antihelmintic (anti-worm medicine), but who knows? Your doc may really be on top of things.

It was rolled out as a drug in 1981, and won its inventors a Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2015 as the full knowledge of its usefulness had become known. It’s on the WHO List of Basic Medicines.

And an excerpted pdf:

“Asthma is the most well knownpotential life threatening medical condition associated with allergies. Therehas been a dramatic rise in morbidity and mortality from asthma for the last50 yearsdespiteaggressive medical treatmentsto control the asthmatic symptoms.

Allergyrelated symptomsareonly the tip of the icebergfor more serious medical problemsone is likelyto encounter later.

Allergieshavebeen associated with a whole list of symptoms including asthma, eczema, irritable bowel syndrome, ADD/ADHD, chronic sinusitisand bronchitis, canker sores, bedwetting, ear infections, dermatitis and hives, joint pain, behavioral problems and migraine headaches. This isonly a partiallist of allergy related symptoms. How could it be possible for simple allergies tocreate so many disabling and destructive medical problems?

What is a missing link between theallergy, allergytreatment and understandingthe cause of the problems? Allergies can be classifiedinto three majorcategories: food allergies, non-food allergies, and environmentalandchemical sensitivities. Food allergies, one of the most common yet overlookedallergies, havebeen associated with leaky gut, yeast and parasites. Parasitesand other hidden microbesinfest not only the intestinal tract but alsomigrateinto the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, lung, stomach and every part of the organ system. As an example, night coughs and asthma havebeen frequently associated with Ascaris(roundworms)in the lung.Bloating, flatulence, nausea, andchange inappetite havebeen associated with gallbladder/liver involvementfrom Strongyloides(parasites)or liver flukes(another form of parasites).

Allergies and parasites are intimately relatedfrom an alternative medicine perspective. Yet they seemsofar apart in the conventional medical understandingofthe role of parasites in allergies. Unfortunately, parasite infestations are hard to detect by the current medical testsof standard blood tests, stool ova and parasite evaluation. Most of the parasites are deeply embedded in the organs and very difficult to eradicate. They reproduce quickly and migrate to different partsof the body.

Elevated IgEor eosinophilsin the bloodmay give a clue for parasite infection and allergy problems. I have been treating my patients for parasites based on information from the Acupuncture Meridian Assessment(described in an article onmy web site). Often my patients’allergy symptoms improve when the parasites are cleared. Some parasitesmay have livedin your body for over 20-30 years. They “become a part of you” by being intimately connected to whatever chronic medical conditions youhave. There can bemany species of parasites infecting different partsof one’sorgans at the same time. Specific treatmentmay be requiredfor each parasite.

In alternative medicine, some natural herbal remedies, such as wormwood, black walnut husk and clove oil, are often usedfor parasites. However, these are often not strong enough to eradicate the parasites which have been embeddeddeeply into one’sorgans. These casesoften requiremultiple high dosesof pharmaceutical parasite medications such as mebendazole, albendazole, tinadazole, praziquantel, metronidazole, iodoquinole and levamisole in

The question is why aren’t the medical industry treating with prophylaxis upon diagnosis? Why wait til the patient is near death to admit to HCF ?
