Not necessarily—I hardly ever wear masks. Certainly not daily. Maybe twice a month I put in a mask, even in “locked down” CA. I work from home. I visit friends and family in their backyards only (I live in CA so weather is good). I eat in outdoor dining in restaurants. I walk my dog outside. I get groceries delivered and I don’t go to stores. (I’ve always hated shopping anyway).
I’ve lived my life in my home and outside, basically, for the entire past year. I only wear a mask when I go to rare doc appts.
I am aware that there are ways and people who haven’t had to wear the mask every day all day for the better part of a year.
But in my job I have had to. Joe Biden is a rank amateur at wearing a mask while he’s talking of imposing a 100 day mandate. Easy to order rules that you exempt yourself from.
He TRIED to wear one on inauguration day and fell out of that practice rather quickly.
“Oh, well we were taking photos and besides I’ve been around those people”. Families are told to limit how many people gather to celebrate Thanksgiving etc and such a photo of people in masks (including the President) would put the moment in a historical context. THIS coming from the man who threw a fit because President Trump REFUSED to wear the mask for so long.
