An Illinois trampoline park promising “the best high energy, adrenaline fix in Peoria” became the site of a violent melee on Saturday night. In video of the brawl, dozens can be seen punching, shoving, stomping and pulling hair as even more stand and observe, sometimes toppling over each other as they get to a safe distance, or jockey for a better view of the fray. Most appear to be teenagers.

These youths must have missed the Super Bowl commercials, where everyone is depicted as peaceful and productive, of high moral character.

No, unless you want to watch a celebration of Black History month and a peaceful (Mostly) protest.
I’m sure they were mostly peaceful
I was visiting friends in Chicago last year at about this time and we were watching the local news broadcast. Suddenly, what I was watching slapped me in the face. The reporters in the studio would take us to reporters in the field that would interview city leaders and victims, witnesses from “off the street” on various stories about government, crime, etc.
And this is what slapped me in the face: It felt like I was in Wakonda. With the exception of one Asian guy, every single peson was black. From the elected and hired government representatives to the “man on the street people being interviewed, they were ALL black.
That was just weird. I’m not implying that it is good or bad or anything in between. It was just a stark observation.

Where’s the sociologists and communists studying this phenomenon? These aren’t “poor” people and most look pretty affluent to me.

One other observation.. This is Illinois which is STILL under strict lockdown rules...
This place doesn’t look like they’re social distancing or even obeying capacity limits.

Actually, yes. A friend of mine was at the trampoline park. And he sent me this photo of the fight.
And as a side note, I’m surprised these folks were able to get their rakes past the metal detectors. Looks like security dropped the ball here.

I cringe to think about their behavior during the max stress and fear of a dirty CW with no power, water, or food distro.
