Wow. That’s probably the most disingenuous headline I’ve seen so far this year. It says a Convention *would* let George Soros rewrite the Constitution. But then the excerpt changes that “would” to a “could”.

Well, yeah. A Convention could let Soros or AOC or David Letterman rewrite the Constitution. Anything is possible with a “could”.

Anyhow, I’m in favor of a Convention of States. The article is correct in that a Convention is risky. But the Republic is slipping away before our very eyes. At least we should try to fix things before it’s too late.

Agree. COS has been a conservative talking point for a long time.

Anything “could” happen. Communists and Socialists “could” gain control of all three branches of government for example.

But we’d rather piss and moan about Bogeyman Soros who will probably be dead by the time a COS ever happens.

I am in favor even though I believe it would be stopped Congress, the Court, and ultimately, by the FBI or other armed wing of the Deep State. We need an overt act like that to shake most conservatives awake.

If the Government can ignore the Constitution as written, why risk re-writing it?
