One cam]n never get off completely. Only when you die and someone shows them a death certificate....I have heard. You can log out but they still have all your information.

I believe that and I also believe they have the ability to monitor all your personal email activity.
I have two email accounts and at one time two Facebook accounts, one in my real name.
On the fake account which I seldom use and have no contacts, I was getting notices from FB to connect with people who I have had email correspondence with and are in my address book who have FB accounts of their own. It just struck me as odd that they they were able to make that connection.
It wouldn't surprise me that they are somehow connected with the NSA and CIA and have access to the cyber tools necessary to do the mining.....
