The lesson to be learned, though the Progressives are loathe to teach it, is that a person should not depend on a politician to get them a decent wage. It is the responsibility of the individual to make themselves an attractive hire, and worth more than minimum wage. In other words, if they want a higher wage, earn it!

Democrats do not want the $15 minimum wage. They want the ISSUE to run on. That way they can keep fooling people into believing Republicans are hard hearted and do not want people to earn a good wage. Without ever having those people learn how many jobs are lost when the minimum wage goes up.

And this gets into what people want to do in terms of jobs and careers. It gets back to people need to get training to get into certain higher paying jobs and careers. And gets back to people setting goals to get education and training to enable them to get those jobs.
