Biased I’ll tell you right now. Nothing wrong with a German Shepherd. His are GORGEOUS. I have to say I was impressed.
But, “adopted”? Sorry, you don’t know what you’re getting. All this sappy guilt-ridden “rescue” stuff is overrated and best avoided.
Sick of the dumb dogs who BTW are out of control yanking on their alleged masters. I was glad to see a real dog. Too bad they’re not better in background or master.

People who can’t handle a shelter dog won’t be able to handle a purebred, either.

This is also what happens when a not-dog person buys a Photo-Op dog, especially when it’s a breed that should be owned by a savvy person.
He should’ve gotten Beagles so he could yank them off the ground by their ears like Johnson did.

I had an old guy say to me once: “You know why God made Beagles so damned cute? So you won’t kill the blasted things!”
I had to laugh, he raised them, but...apparently, there is just so much training that can be applied to some of those dogs!
