In the 2000-2001 time frame, I listened to country music on the local radio stations in San Diego. I had a long list of favorite artists and songs. In 2002, I wrapped up the in-person engagement in San Diego and returned home to Idaho. The local AM station had good conservative line-ups including Rush Limbaugh and late night Coast to Coast AM. I ceased listening to country music. With the recent passing of Rush and my local station eclipsing the first hour of Coast to Coast with a delayed replay of "Joe Pags", I'm about ready to write them off. Their hourly Fox News feed has ceased to be even close to "conservative".
Back to the country topic...are the "woke racists" coming to destroy country music just as I'm recalibrating my options of daytime listening? If so, country music won't be getting any attention from me.
