Four people, including a seven-year-old girl, were killed after an argument over a stimulus check ended in gunfire. Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that Malik Halfacre, 25, got into an argument with Jeanettrius Moore, who is the mother of his six-month-old daughter. He demanded at least half of her $1,400 stimulus check, but she refused to give him anything.
Jeanettrius? I don’t even need to look.
Biden’s fault!
That’s “stimulating”?
See, see! Trump’s racist and homophobic tweets again!
These cra-cra days, the cops should thank their lucky stars they didn’t shoot the killer. There’da been riots before the sun set.
I’m more interested in the killer’s last name of Halfacre. At first I thought it might be native American until reading the other names. Perhaps one of his ancestors had been a slave and somewhere along the line was freed and given a half-acre for a homestead and garden?
I can only imagine what a freed slave would think of today’s state. And especially one given a small plot of land to try to raise some food and a living for his family.
“And now with pResident Joe Biteme throwing the border wide open, I wonder if there is a realistic exit strategy.”
There are plenty of places left in the USA where life is like it was before all this crud started.
Halfacre bought the full acre. RIP
high on Burger King

“And suddenly I was back in law school - Property 101”
Blackacre.
21twelve upthread made a reference to Halfacre. I have heard of that last name, though I would guess it’s not very common. (Except, perhaps, compared to Jeanettrius, Tomeeka, and Dequan.)
A Greek girl?
