Which opens up a Pandora’s box for dirty prosecuters. And they offer time off sentences for criminals to testify against said person.
Man sales drugs and 5 years later finds him leading a clean solid life, the feds swoop in and bring charges against him with 2 witnesses and absolutely no evidence. He’s given 15 years! And prosecutors are never held accountable.
Our system was never meant to be like this. But here we are.
