Traveled through the Navajo 'Nation' today. They're still on complete lockdown. Can't even eat without masks , hand goo. I said I'm not forcing my son to wear a mask. And I definitely want going for the filthy hand for that's advertised as cleaner. I said the rest of the state is open. All I got was 'Navajo nation!'.

As a reminder, these folks vote 90% democrat and have done so since they got on the res and started taking welfare.

They want those rules? Ok, I said no and walked out. It's been over a year. Look at the cases and deaths for arizona. It makes no sense.

I stayed in the Hualapai Lodge in Peach Springs, AZ about 3 weeks ago. This is part of the Navajo nation. They just reopened it after a year (!) shut down. They run their tourist operations (colorado river tours, Grand Canyon West, etc) out of Peach Springs. It was comical talking to the front desk person about how at 8 PM Peach Springs was under curfew. No one allowed on the street. There is nothing to do in Peach Springs - what the heck is the reason for a curfew!? They have a restaurant in Peach Springs that is also ‘shut down.’ Insanity. The nearest restaurant is over 30 miles away. Fear is not a virtue but the Navajo nation has it in spades. On the other hand - if I were Navajo I wouldn’t want the white man’s vaccine either.

Our local church has a mission relationship with the Navajo Tribe in New Mexico. Very poor people.

As the saying goes, the US Government broke every treaty they had with the Native American's (of which I'm a Cherokee descendent, with my great grandmother being 100% Cherokee).

Now, the US Government breaks 'treaties' (aka, LAWS) with its own citizens.
