I’m a pilot flying for a scheduled airline. A while back there was a flight heading to an airport and the flight crew over flew it. Gutless on Fox came on the set while the b’cast about it was on wearing a pilot’s cap and acting like he was either drunk or half a sleep. He was ridiculing the crew when actually what they were doing was checking their schedule and unfortunately wasn’t paying attention to where they were. They were not drunk or sleeping but Gutless not knowing the full story thought it would be fun to ridicule them, ever since I have no use for him.
Well, part of his job is to make fun of things in the news.
I might have thought it was poor taste in the circumstance, but I wouldn’t detest him for that.
He’s very thoughtful, speaks his mind from considered principle, and puts on a good show.
So they were not drunk and not sleeping. How is NOT PAYING ATTENTION any better? a flight crew not paying attention is as scary as a drunk flight crew.
