Yes we have all of those groups and the “homeless” camps are by far the worst. But the “homeless” usually congregate somewhere near an area where they are panhandling or have easy access to marijuana or booze. We are in an outlying area which used to be pristine where most of the trash comes out of car windows or is dumped by someone who doesn't want to pay $10 to $20 at a “transfer station”. I think that the county should probably consider making the transfer stations free for non-commercial customers for this reason. Even then most of the perpetrators probably wouldn't bother to go out of their way.

In the early 1970s I worked for the parks department of the city of Maitland in Central Florida.
