“Grossman is one of the most effective speakers on the effects of combat stress I have ever heard. His sheep/wolves/sheepdog analogy is right on.”

Agree: Debriefing is very important after a mission. He spoke to my Group at Fort Lewis. Very good training.

I just listen to the 'best sex' bit. He is referring to releasing that built up stress from going through a very stressful situation. Sex is a common technique to release stress, and this is well know. The make up sex from a fight with the spouse for an example.

Nothing new here, he is just stating the facts from his research. This comes from interviews he had with cops.

He is referring to what the cops have told him. "They all say the best sex I had in months."

The title is out of context. Stop being sheep!

In certain locations after a major stressful exercise where we do not have women, they would put us in lock down on base. People would fist fight in the NCO club. The stress has to go somewhere. I know a little about stress.
