He played on mostly garbage teams in Atlanta and New Orleans.

Still the greatest player I ever saw. I used to love to go outside and try to copy his moves as a kid.

Considering Pete was born without a left coronary artery, only found at autopsy, he did pretty damned good. Imagine what he would have been like with a healthy heart!
If there had been a 3 point shot, shot clock, loose officiating like today Pistol Pete would OWN the record book.

Serbia was so proud of Pete Maravich, a grandson of Serbian immigrants, that a street in Belgrade was named for him.
